About This Project
This was my final project for my 3D Digital Sculpting class. I really enjoyed considering my facial anatomy knowledge during this project, though I was indecisive about a balance between stylized and realism. The eyes and the jaw, I would say, were the hardest part. When it came to painting, I found out I could paint this in Procreate, so I gave that a go. I decided to go for an impressionist painting style, reminiscent of the brushstrokes in ‘Starry Night’. I also used a Procreate brush I made myself for painting. A few colors I used are from my personal brand, and I played with dramatic lighting t0 make it more playful and fun. I would love to retry this project in the future and play more with stylized vs. realism, but overall, I really enjoyed this project.
