I’m the creative mind behind ‘Kylee Jade Designs’—a design nerd who loves to learn. I recently graduated Miami University in 2025 with a BFA in Communication Design and a BA in Emerging Technology in Business and Design.

My Design Philosophies
Complexity Made Simple
I love working with information as I design. Taking complex information and synthesizing it into something simple for my audiences gives me joy. As I design, I seek opportunities to highlight important information and make messages clear, easy, and memorable.
Radical Approachability
Accessibility is so important in design, and I seek to take it one step further. I find ways of motivating my audiences to engage with my design by eliminating any barriers to their engagement. My audiences should know without a doubt that my designs are for them—they are metaphorical doors that welcome them into the space of the messages I design for.
Research And Empathy Driven
Good designs begin with good research and a good understanding of one’s target audience. I make sure all my design decisions are informed by the detailed research and speak to the unique backgrounds, preferences, and qualities of my audiences. My love for the people I design for fuels my entire design process.

Outside of design, I have a lot of interests that make me a better designer. I love to learn, so reading and researching are hobbies I indulge frequently.
Non-design topics I enjoy include personality psychology, languages, classic tales from around the world and flag trivia! I’m a big fan of the humanities and love how they broaden my perspective and build empathy between myself and others from different walks of life.
